Job Description
About the role
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to finance team members and coordinate day to day activities to ensure the team achieves its objectives. You will also provide support to the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the efficient and effective financial management of CCPC.
You will be required to undertake a range of tasks including but not limited to the following:
Prepare monthly management reports for each program including commentary on budget variances.
Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations.
Consult with the Leadership team regarding budgets and monthly financial performance.
Develop relationships with key external stakeholders regarding Insurances, Financial Audits and Treasury functions to achieve the financial goals and requirements of CCPC.
Develop other Finance team members providing support and guidance.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) membership would be highly regarded.
Previous experience in a similar position leading and managing teams.
Exceptional organisational ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, multi-task, and work to tight deadlines.
Demonstrated high level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
Previous experience working with MYOB, MicroPay and knowledge of the NDIS and SCHADS award would be well regarded.
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a Criminal Record Check (CRC) issued within the last 12 months that includes working with vulnerable groups
A valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) to be obtained and maintained at your own expense
