Job Description
About the role
As a Plan Management Officer, you will offer a quality service to our NDIS plan managed participants and support the Claims Officer and Team Leader to ensure efficient financial management of CCPC.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Plan Management Officer will include:
Signing up of new plan management participants and renewal of existing clients
Processing approved invoices for plan managed participants using the Plan Management System, MYP
Maintaining participant records within MYP and creating the recurring setup and fee schedules
Ensuring invoiced items are within the NDIS reasonable and necessary framework and within each NDIS participant’s funded supports in accordance with service agreements
Reviewing and monitoring participant plans and budgets, minimising over/underspending and identifying opportunities to utilise excess funds
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Certificate III in Accounts Administration or Certificate IV level qualifications in bookkeeping or equivalent.
Previous experience performing in a similar role in accounts payable and customer service.
Membership with an Australian accounting professional body, e.g. Australian Bookkeepers Association.
Knowledge of the NDIS system will be highly regarded.
Advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience using databases, accounting software and MS Office suite.
Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively to build rapport with clients, services providers, and other organisations.
Proven organisational ability to identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.
Demonstrated high level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Criminal Record Check (CRC) issued within the last 12 months that includes working with vulnerable groups.
A valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) to be obtained and maintained at your own expense.
Eligibility to work in Australia on a permanent basis.
